Browns Pro Bowl Selections
|
|
The Pro Bowl is the NFL's version of the All-Star
game. It is played one week after the Super Bowl. The first "all
star" game for professional football was played in 1898 between
the Western PA All-Stars and the Duquense (Pittsburgh) Country and Athletic
Club. Even though this game was not a money maker, others like it continued
unitl the 1950 season, when the first NFL Pro Bowl was played on January
4, 1951. The game found a permenant home in Honolulu, HI after the 1980
season.
