Browns Pro Bowl Selections
The Pro Bowl is the NFL's version of the All-Star game. It is played one week after the Super Bowl. The first "all star" game for professional football was played in 1898 between the Western PA All-Stars and the Duquense (Pittsburgh) Country and Athletic Club. Even though this game was not a money maker, others like it continued unitl the 1950 season, when the first NFL Pro Bowl was played on January 4, 1951. The game found a permenant home in Honolulu, HI after the 1980 season.
